So this is the last day of the blog challenge. I have completed 30 blogs over 30 days. Long may they continue. I have had a great time writing them.
So what did we do today on the last day?
My eldest boy has done so well again today swimming. He is now swimming under water, and loving it. Is this the same boy who two weeks ago couldn’t put his face in the water.
This evening after the boys are in bed. My mum gets out a DVD that she has made of all our old home videos. This dates back over 20 years. We have just spent the last 2 hours laughing at it. Our clothes. Our hair. My dad and his funny comments. For my UK friends my brother is like Rodney off Only Fools & Horses. If he reads this he will not be amused. But it has cracked us up this evening.
We are going to show it to the boys in the morning to see what they make of it.

Well what an interesting day. We are at a golf cart community. My boys are loving it zipping around on a golf cart.
We are on our way to dinner. We drive past a lake. Out on the lake we glance across. Where we know there are gators. This is a first – there is a gator laying on the grass edge. It’s ok it’s only a baby one. Not that I would like to tackle it.
We continue onwards to dinner. After eating in Gator Joe’s (you can see we had a gator theme going on). I take the kids for a walk along the pier to see the fish. We spot all the fish and some turtles swimming around.
The kids are pleased to see all the fish. Suddenly we walking along. There in the lake is another baby gator in the water. He is as still as anything. They are very odd how still they can be. Suddenly out of nowhere he swims a few feet away and again is really still!

So after a fun day at the pool. We are getting ready to leave. The kids are getting dried off and getting crocs on. We gather up all the toys they have been playing with.
I get myself sorted out putting my beach dress on. When a lady who is sitting at the pools says “I love that beach dress, where did you get it?” I realise she is talking to me. I tell her “I sell these through my company The Accessory Barn”. Of course who doesn’t like the beach dress.
I could have kicked myself. This of course is the one time I don’t have my business card with me. Let’s hope she is at the pool tomorrow, when of course I will be fully armed with cards.

For the last few weeks we have been trying to get the kids swimming. Both love the water. But both just needed to realise they could do it.
My eldest boy has been doing so well. He now realises he can swim and he won’t sink. The last couple of days he has really come on well. We have been having races in the pool and he is doing great. Swimming lengths across the pool. Legs are kicking good and arms are even better. I think the arm bands are a thing of the past for him!
My youngest boy is trying to get there. Although did he need to say at the top of his voice to the whole pool that his mum doesn’t like water she only likes wine!
He needs learn to get his legs up behind him. He does a lot of walking type swimming. His problem is knowing where he can’t stand. Once again today I had to fish him out when he steps in to deep. But if you dare try to help him he will brush you away and insist he doesn’t need help!

If you haven’t tried the GrandCo sandal you are certainly missing out on the most comfortable inexpensive sandal you will own.
Let me say I have tried all sorts of sandals from the most expensive to the very cheapest, and these are by far the best I have found. They are great for during the day, but you don’t need to stop there. Why not pull out a nice dress and add these to the outfit and you will look GREAT… and of course get lots of flattering comments.
When I wear the GrandCo sandal I get more compliments and people asking me where I purchased them than anything else I own – How many people can say that about a shoe that cost under $20.
These sandals have a raised inner sole to give you that extra support, with those wonderful colorful beads, stones and crystals they use to make them look extra special, while sitting nice and flat against the foot.
Believe me when I say you are going to want one in every color and style – just as I did when I tried on that first pair…

I am surprized just how much I managed to get done today.
The kids didn’t get up till 9am this morning. By that time I was washed and showered. Two loads of washing down. One trash can cleaned (that was horrible). Internet sales all in envelopes ready for posting. A hostess order all processed. Bed made.
Wow.. I can’t remember the last time I was that organised before 9am. Just as well. I had a stack of other jobs I needed to do.
What is it with the roads round here at the moment. I had to run out and do some jobs plus another visit to doctors. Every route I took today led to road works. It was driving me crazy. I know they need to fix the roads but do they have to do all of them at once?
So that is my moan over for today!
All in all I had quite a productive day. Even though I feel like all I have done is run from place to place. Oh well it keeps me out of trouble!

Finally, I am getting somewhere near organised. I felt like I was going backwards for the last few weeks. I have been busy busy! What with my husband’s travelling, me being ill, then Mr B being sick. Way too many trips to the doctors. It’s been non-stop.
So today I was asked to attend another show in July. I started last week off with just 1 show in July less than a week later I have 4. The best thing they have come to me for the shows. All in new areas, where The Accessory Barn is not known, but will soon be.
It’s great. I am so pleased. I love my little company. I started it last summer. All because I purchased a pair of sandals, but couldn’t find in Chicago. I loved them so much I set up a company to sell them. Some would say a little extreme, but I love it. I have had so much fun buying in my stock. Then I have the home shows which are great. The vendor shows. Meeting other vendors sharing ideas. Brilliant!
So today Mr B didn’t go to camp. I had a stack of jobs to do. Well we went from place to place today. At the end of it Billy said ‘Mum are we done yet?” I said “no one more stop then we are done”. He said “I thought you just sat at home doing nothing, when we went to school!” If only that was true.

Ummm, a kind of good day. Orders coming in via my website www.theaccessorybarn.com. I am really pleased about that. I love logging on to check how many people have checked my site. When, there it is. 1 order waiting to be shipped.
So last night I spent two hours trying to do a stock take. Which should have taken probably 20 minutes. But two little boys put paid to that. Well I finally got it all done and left it on the side in kitchen. Oh you guessed it. I haven’t seen it since!
This morning I spent 20 minutes re-doing my stock take. The boys were playing Wall-e on the Playstation. It was meant to be just Mr A playing but he is still getting use to how it works. So Mr B was showing him how to play.
The game was all going well until Billy decided he had enough of playing. This sent Mr A into melt down mode. That set the tone of the rest of the day.
Having just lived all the fun and games. I haven’t got the energy to blog about it. The lovely little Mr A. Who looks like butter wouldn’t melt when he gives you one of his cheesy grins. Has drove me mad today. Let’s hope it’s a better day tomorrow.

So Mr B still was unwell this morning. Instead of camp for him, it’s a trip back to doctors. By the time Alfie finally gets out of bed we are late for camp. Yet again it’s another breakfast in the car.
So after spending over an hour in the doctor’s getting tested. We now know he has a virus. Poor thing, had to sit there with a mask over his mouth breathing in some medicine to open up his airways. Whilst doing that the doctor said “I am glad you came back, because sometimes this leads to pneumonia”. Oh great just what I needed to hear. Now we have antibiotics and an inhaler to help him breath. We have to go back again on Thursday to get checked over to make sure he is on the mend.
After all that we was starving, since I had skipped breakfast and Mr B didn’t eat much. So we decided we needed a nice lunch. Off to Jersey Mike’s we went. What a lovely sandwich they do in there. It was a relief for both of us to get some food.
We finally got home after picking Mr A up from camp about 2.30pm. We were all pleased to finally be home.
Now I have a ton of stuff to do before our holiday on Friday. Which includes updating my website with all my new sandals. Getting orders out in the post. Try to get more people to become a fan on Facebook of The Accessory Barn. Oh and the list goes on and on..

So happy Father’s Day to my Dad. Of course my card I sent hasn’t arrived. It was a funny one as well. He will probably roll his eyes when he reads it. I did call. A little later than I expected to. But that is the problem when I am in USA and he is in England. They are half way through the day before we even get up.
I will be seeing both my mum and dad on Friday. I am travelling with the boys to Florida. This will be a first flight alone with the both boys. Should be an interesting blog on Friday!
We had a bit of a rush start this morning. After a quick present opening. We were off to see a film. We reserved tickets to take boys to Toy Story 3. They have been waiting for ages to see it. So we get in there popcorn and drinks in hand. Let’s go and get a seat. It was really good. Although Mr A didn’t like the nasty monkey in it. He made me sit covering his eyes when he came on. Not sure why he couldn’t cover his own eyes. Other than that part the kids loved it.
No storms today, which is good news. But I think they are due back. Hold on to your hats!
