I made it!
So this is the last day of the blog challenge. I have completed 30 blogs over 30 days. Long may they continue. I have had a great time writing them.
So what did we do today on the last day?
My eldest boy has done so well again today swimming. He is now swimming under water, and loving it. Is this the same boy who two weeks ago couldn’t put his face in the water.
This evening after the boys are in bed. My mum gets out a DVD that she has made of all our old home videos. This dates back over 20 years. We have just spent the last 2 hours laughing at it. Our clothes. Our hair. My dad and his funny comments. For my UK friends my brother is like Rodney off Only Fools & Horses. If he reads this he will not be amused. But it has cracked us up this evening.
We are going to show it to the boys in the morning to see what they make of it.
Never get tired of Rodney and Del Boy in Fools and Horses, it’s still hilarious after all these years!! I’ve just taken my old videos and camcorder tapes to be copied onto DVD’s at Costco I’m sure it will give us all a laugh if nothing else!
Oh what fun! Sounds like the video is “history in the making” – I should do that for my kids, although we didn’t have a video camera in the “old days”. So it may be a slide show.
